General Automotive Servicenter is a family owned, fully-equipped 8,000 sq. ft. shop with multiple full time technicians. We are currently seeking applicants for the following positions.

Light & Medium Duty Truck Mechanic
$50,000 – $80,000 a year – Full-time, Commission.
We offer a flat rate based pay scale. Required education is high school or equivalent or one year job experience in a related position. Paid vacation available after 1 yr of employment. Health insurance available but not included. Maryland State Inspector is a plus. Must be able to weld or be willing to learn. Shop currently understaffed. We offer & sell all of the current maintenance items (Trans service, power steering service, etc.) However you must be strong on GM & Ford diagnostics & repair. (We do work on diesel trucks & have the equipment to diagnose & repair all current diesel medium duty trucks) Hours of operation are 6:30am-4:30pm Monday thru Friday. Closed the day after Thanksgiving. Will be closed at least one day around Christmas. Must have a good driving record.
