General Automotive Servicenter is a family business that first opened its doors in 1979. Originally, we had three owners: Howard Lindsey, Cecil Schawartzbeck and Van Randle. While it was not a traditional “family business” as the three owners were not immediate family members, we’ve always had our family values that we keep respecting to this day. Eventually, the business has grown into a traditional family business, with Howard Lindsey and his wife Danielle taking over as owners and bringing in their two sons: John and Jamie Lindsey to assist with the day-to-day operations.
One of our family values focuses on providing quality service at an affordable price. Back in the days, when all three original owners worked at a dealership, they all agreed that the customers could have received better service in addition to more cost-effective repairs. General Automotive Servicenter was created to provide the type of service customers deserve, and this concept still rings true today.
General Automotive Servicenter is still servicing the Montgomery County community using these same family values and ground principles we laid down back in 1979. We choose to be a “small business,” because we feel it is the only way we can maintain the quality of our services and build long-lasting relationships with our customers.
